Your role: In a project-based role, you will have lots of client contact and great communication skills, advising and training them on cloud-based systems such as Xero, QuickBooks and Sage. Further responsibilities: o Holding meetings and otherwise assessing the individual client’s needs for the best cloud-based accounting system for them o Implementing the system on the clients’ premises, from various systems or manual o Training clients on the new system (mainly Xero) o Providing ongoing IT and accounting support through the implementation period and aftercare o Some cashflows and budgets if pertinent to the project o Producing management accounts for clients and presenting to senior management for review. o Produce statutory accounts for clients, reviewing and making necessary adjustments Client contact o Be one of the main points of contact for clients o Addressing queries, deciding when to escalate to Senior Management o Contributing to the company’s bottom line, cross selling the firm’s other services which includes corporate finance and insolvency Your profile: Imperative to have good knowledge of cloud-based accounting systems including Sage, QuickBooks, Xero and preferably CaseWare Ideally be familiar with the mobile versions of cloud-based accounting systems Are ideally ACCA or ACA qualified or QBE (qualified by experience) Are interested in professional development and keeping your skills fresh Your new company Clients from a wide variety of sectors including many property clients, retail, charities and educational institutions Are on an aggressive marketing and expansion plan and have been regularly taking on new staff members They have modern, purpose-built offices and a great location nears shops, parking and transport links Provide full accounting, strategy, insolvency and corporate finance services Competitive benefits package Because our client has a portfolio of clients who expect the best level of service, they need to attract the best people for their Senior Accountantrole.
