Overview
Permanent Project Quantity Surveyor, Industrial new build, Derby based contractor, Oxford Site Your new company You will be working for a family owned regional main contractor who have an established client base within the East Midlands. The company operate in a range of sectors and complete both refurbishment and new build works across multiple sectors. They are now seeking a permanent Project Quantity Surveyor to join their ranks. Your new role This role will be initially a site based Project QS for an industrial project in Oxford. This project will have a total value of £16m over multiple phases. The role will involve selection of specialist contractors, preparing and updating contract documents, issuing interim payments, evaluation of variations and cost analysis. You will also identify an respond to commercial risk and complete cost reports. What you'll need to succeed You will have experience of working for a main contractor ideally in the industrial new build sector with project values of £2m and above. You will be an ambitious and driven individual who wants to work on the larger projects in due course. Candidates who have experience in sectors such as; Education, Healthcare, Residential, Industrial, Commercial office, Retail or Leisure will be of interest due to the diverse nature of projects. You will have excellent JCT contract knowledge and a full UK driving license. What you'll get in return You will receive a competitive salary and package dependant on experience.
