HR Manager - Forest Gate A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Manager to join the team to enable our client to deliver on its vision of being the best quality brand in bakery, by delivering HR plans that support the delivery of business strategy through maximising the organisations capability and resource and ensuring quality is at the heart of everything they do Working with the HR and central support teams, some of the key accountabilities include; Driving HR excellence and process efficiency Delivery of the people strategy, ensuring best practice HR excellence, supporting the delivery of business goals, and ensuring consistency and value added support in all areas of HR including Employee Relations. Delivery of collaborative working practices that deliver continuous improvement in all areas of HR operations Ensuring simplification and simplicity in approach, to enable effective focus and delivery of business objectives Supporting all central and support programmes to deliver best in class performance Identifying the key challenges that the business is facing and aligning HR to deliver solutions. Management of the Apprenticeship programme The ideal candidate will be one that is passionate not only about the work they do but the brand they work for, takes ownership for what they do and is able to influence multiple stakeholders in the right way. They will also be able to focus individuals on specific tasks and behaviours, by bringing a positive, encouraging and consistent behaviour and is able to create a compelling story for the future as well as role model the Company Leadership Standards. Desired Skills and Experience: Graduate / CIPD qualified Experience in FMCG - ideally manufacturing and food Test employee relations experience Delivery of change management programmes Experience in TU negotiations - pay awards and T&C reviews Strong knowledge of employment law Performance management techniques Resourcing experience at all levels Strong communication and interpersonal skills - ability to influence and persuade Results oriented, resilient and highly motivated Location: Forest Gate Reporting to: Site Director Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
