An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Infection Prevention and Control Team at Russells Hall Hospital for a qualified, enthusiastic and experienced Band 7 Clinical Nurse Specialist. You must be able to work flexibly within our well established team which provides a 7 day service (inclusive of weekend and bank holidays). Extensive experience in infection prevention and control is essential. This role will be responsible for the prevention, surveillance, investigation and control of infection; under the direction of the Lead Nurse Infection Prevention and Control. You will be required to deputise behalf of the Lead as and when required. You will be working across three hospital sites and a range of community facilities. The successful applicant will have the ability to prioritise and manage their own workload, along with supervision of junior staff on a daily basis.
