JOB DETAILS Job title: Business Analyst - Fire and Rescue Services Salary: £46,084 to £49,367 per annum Contract type: Permanent position Working hours: 37 hours per week, flexible working available Location: Chichester, County Hall Application closing date: 11th April 2020 Interview date: 20th-22th April 2020 It's an exciting and challenging time to join West Sussex Fire and Rescue as we face three main challenges - performance, culture and financial. Your role will be pivotal in contributing to the delivery of the programme of work and projects against the Integrated Risk Management and Service Improvement plans. As the Business Analyst within West Sussex's Fire and Rescue Service you will plan, analyse, capture, document and implement business processes and business cases. You will be reporting to the Head of the Programme Manager Office and will create requirements and documentations or specifications as part of the Programme and Project life cycle. You will be organised and methodical in your approach as often; you will be delivering against tight deadlines. As part of your role you will continually seek opportunities and champion to reduce all non-essential costs and to drive down the cost base, adding value back into our Service. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED You will provide significant input and support into major change initiatives. You will require experience in business process design, testing, verification and validation techniques You will have previous experience of building relationships with Programme and Project team leads and stakeholders You will ensure stakeholders have the full analysis of the impacts of change including the assessment of the financial and service benefits of change.
