Overview
Resourcing Group are currently recruiting for an Electrician to join an NHS service based in Birmingham, the role is expected to last a minimum of 8-12 weeks with a view to go permanent after this period. Hours: 8am-4pm Monday to Friday Start date: ASAP Core skills and experience with the below is required; Electrical Distribution Lighting Fire Detection Systems Standby Generator Plant Nurse Call Systems Portable Appliance Testing Lifts Catering Equipment Laundry Equipment Security Access Control Inspection and Testing Basic knowledge of other trades would be beneficial to the role. Qualifications required; A minimum qualification of BTEC/ONC in Electrical Engineering or City & Guilds in either: OR Course 236 Part 1 & 2 Electrical Installation. Or Course 232 Electrical and Electronic Craft Studies OR BS 7671 16th Edition regulation Upgrades. OR Course 2391 Inspection and Testing OR Course 2377 Portable Appliance Testing. OR NVQ Level 3 in an electrical structured training programme. OR Adequate knowledge of general Engineering, electrical and other trades' principles for multi-skilling.
