Overview
Our client is looking for a nurse who is experienced, patient and empathic, who works well within a team. If this sounds like you, make sure to read on and apply. A oncology nurse's job is to work with patients who have cancer. Naturally, this is an extremely sensitive area to work in, so applicants must be passionate about the work they do and be supportive towards patients, co-workers and the family members of the patients. The applicant will be working within a team and have frequent contact with other departments, so strong communication skills are essential. Requirements Ability to administer chemotherapy 6 months' chemotherapy experience 1 year's NHS experience Cancer care qualification CPR and BLS certification Clinical knowledge regarding specialty care services Knowledge of word processing, electronic health records and database software applications
