Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced R&D Engineer to join an established business within the medical device industry, based in West London. The successful candidate will be a creative individual, with strong engineering fundamentals who is comfortable contributing to multi-disciplinary teams of scientists and engineers to solve complex problems. Responsibilities: - Design, build and test components to meet the customer requirements - Support the prototyping, development and testing of design prototypes - Record, document, and present results to internal and external stakeholders Experience: - Mechanical Engineering degree (or similar) - Minimum 4 years post-graduate experience - Knowledge of system mechanics and fluidic dynamics - Strong 3D CAD experience (preferably Solidworks) - Experience of rapid prototyping techniques - Analyse and communicate experimental results in a clear and understandable manner to internal and external stakeholders - Exposure in working within a regulated industry (preferably the ISO 13485) Salary : £40,000 - £45,000 (DOE) The interview process includes a telephone interview followed by an onsite interview which includes a presentation.
