Overview
Media Studies Teacher required for September 2020 Key Satge 4, 5 and BTEC Grade 1 Ofsted School Superb department Excellent pay An excellent school based in North London, Haringey, are looking to appoint a well qualified teacher of Media Studies to teach very capable students at Key Stage 4, BTEC and Key Stage 5. The role is full time, 5 days per week. The School is an oversubscribed, high achieving institution that has superb results at GCSE and A Level. They do not have specific behaviour problems at the school and as such are looking for a teacher who will push the students academically. As with all Secondary Comprehensive Schools, the ability to have appropriate behaviour management techniques at your disposal is desirable. The School are looking to interview immediately for this position, and the role can be offered to commence (should you wish) before the summer holidays begin. This is a permanent role to take over from a member of staff who is retiring. Ideally you will have experience of teaching Key Stage 4 & 5 Media Studies and also at BTEC level. The ability to demonstrate an understanding of the national curriculum framework and UK curriculum is desirable, although not imperative.
