Overview
A leading provider of trusted identity and security solutions is looking for a C# Engineer to join their Development team in London. As a Software Engineer you will work to create a compelling product architecture that integrates within a customer's environment, engage in hands-on development. You will be part of a lean agile and dynamic team based in London reporting to the Principal Software Engineer. You enjoy designing solutions to hard problems and can communicate these to both the team as well as product management. You get a kick out of motivating and helping your team mates grow. You are always happy to help out a fellow team member, taking the time to explain solutions and set them on the path of self-learning. You already master a few programming languages, or easily find your way around a new one. You enjoy picking up new things and incorporating those in your skillset. You can tell which of the tools in your belt work for the task at hand and which do not. You are an inquisitive perfectionist. You like to know how things work and constantly try to improve them. Responsibilities: Designing and implementing core services, processes and technologies that provide reliability, high availability, performance and scalability Writing operational documentation Creating technical specifications Assure code quality by implementing appropriate automated testing tools and processes Align the development process with the rest of our CI/CD practices and workflows Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent experience 5 year's work experience as a Software Engineer developing using C# and .NET Framework Experience deploying services to Azure Good knowledge of Object-Oriented Design and SOLID principles Excellent command of SQL and ORM technologies (Entity Framework) Working knowledge of HTML/CSS, JavaScript/Angular Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, testing, and operation Good documentation skills Benefits: A friendly and personal working environment Excellent growth opportunities Competitive Salary Company Profitability Bonus Scheme 25 Days Annual Leave Company paid for medical cover with the option to add family members at your expense Buying and Selling Annual Leave 37.5 hour working week and you will be able to agree a flexible working pattern around the core hours of 10AM to 3PM with your line manager.
