We are looking to recruit an Energy Settlements Analyst to join the team. The location for this role can be flexible (Exeter, Taunton, Ardley, Rochester), with travel required throughout our Powergen sites. This is a full-time role, working 37.5 hours a week. What will you be doing? The Energy Settlements Analyst will deliver settlements processes across Power Portfolio Management. You’ll deliver accurate and timely settlement and validation of energy revenues and expenditure and work with suppliers to ensure contractual requirements and timelines are met. The Energy Settlements Analyst will produce a monthly settlements presentation and, where required, compliance reports against each core activity within the Team. You’ll be responsible for developing, implementing and documenting complex settlements validation models across electricity and natural gas, using Excel and other IT systems. Additionally, you will follow and continuously improve a set of validation processes across the settlement of electricity export (revenues), embedded benefits (revenues and costs) and both natural gas and electricity import costs. What do you need? Knowledge of energy settlements or energy costs Accountancy and financial processes knowledge Degree qualified or equivalent in relevant subject Experience of using financial data and analysis Highly numerate with strong analytical skills Advanced Excel skills High levels of initiative to proactively learn and solve problems Full UK driving licence What can Viridor offer you?
