Overview
Experienced Nursing Consultant with ITU skills to update care plans and risk assessments and assess competencies of a skilled team of personal assistants, caring for a 15-year-old engaging young man who has a high-level spinal injury and is reliant on a ventilator (Nippy). Our client lives in the Little Clacton area of Essex. Applicants must also have a fun and positive attitude and also the understanding of close family values. The position would suit an experienced nurse wanting a part time position of responsibility or who works elsewhere as well. Working hours: Initially 16 hours a month for first three months then an average of 12 hours a month in a consultancy capacity. A team leader is in post who manages the day to day management matters. Our client seeks someone who is well organised and flexible. Rates of pay: £50.00 to £60.00 per hour for the right person according to experience and suitability. The position can be on a self-employed basis providing you meet the relevant taxation and employment criteria. The position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Child Workforce Barring.
