Resettlement Worker Required Immediately Via Venn Group The Specialists in Professional Temporary Recruitment Venn Group is proud to present a fantastic opportunity to work with a prestigious support provider as a Resettlement Worker on a full time, temporary basis. Hours: 35 per week Duration: 3 months Rate: £10.70 PAYE or £12 LTD Location: Bristol Day to Day Duties: Carry a caseload of vulnerable clients and support them in the community on release from prison to reduce re-offending and homelessness Provide pathways of support and recovery to service users on a 1-1 basis and conduct lone working Provide financial advice and how to access benefits, Universal Credit and sustain tenancies Conduct risk and needs assessments Work with private landlords, supported housing providers, rehabilitation projects, social housing and councils to negotiate tenancies and find suitable accommodation Aid clients to make and attend appointments with GPs, nurses and job centres Support clients to apply for voluntary roles, jobs and educational opportunities Attend regular meetings and training Essential Skills Current DBS Must be a driver with their own car Experience of working with vulnerable client groups Providing housing and welfare benefits advice Experience and knowledge of working in Supported Accommodation Desirable Experience working with ex-offenders If you would like to be considered for this position and for further information on this and other roles please send an updated CV to or call Branwen Johns or Vic Singh on
