Overview
South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust Band 6 Occupational Therapist (Mental Health) Based at Heather Close Mental Health Rehab ward You will be completing OT assessments to screen function and facilitate patient flow towards discharge. This may include community/ home visits Facilitating therapeutic groups, including community interventions, recovery focused discussions, food preparation Working closely with activity coordinators, to plan and prepare therapeutic activity which meet the needs of the unit Integrated to the MDT, and participating in care planning, positive behaviour support planning and CPA meetings alongside the patient 37.5 hours, flexible Starting ASAP, however if you have a notice period, the trust may be able to wait for the right candidate Please get in contact with Rachel from Piers Meadows Recruitment for the full job description.
