DATA ARCHITECT £90,000-£100,000 LONDON Do you want to work with a modern tech stack to design a data platform at an industry-leading company - then search no further THE COMPANY: The company are a one of the UK's leading media brands who have recently build a data lake in Scala, Spark and AWS they are now building a green field data platform on top of that in GCP for the BI analysts to easily accesses. They use a modern tech stack at the forefront of data and analytics, using GCP, BigQuery data warehouse, DBT and git. This role will have you working across these technologies to deliver on targets for multiple teams across the business. THE ROLE: As a Data Architect, your responsibilities will include: Working with stakeholders to understand the data flows within the organisation and needs Leading the design of logical and physical data models to deliver on business objectives Ensure that data modelling (conceptual, logical, physical) is to a high standard and understood by the engineering teams Enabling the build of a greenfield data warehouse which sits on top of their existing data lake and allows the teams to deliver effective analytics YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: An ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience: Strong SQL coding experience Experience creating data architectures and models (enterprise wide) Experience with modern data analytics tools: AWS, GCP, DBT, Data Lake, Spark, Scala, SQL, Git HOW TO APPLY: Please register your interest by sending your CV to Ria Verma via the Apply link on this page.
