Foundry Patternmaker. Nottinghamshire - M1 Corridor. Circa £28,000. For nearly 50 years my client has become a successful and expanding foundry business manufacturing high integrity castings for customers across the globe. Their customers are valued partners in the continuing process of improvement and efficiency, with close liaison through the whole 'cradle to grave' process producing increased business opportunities for both parties. As a company they continue to invest in modern manufacturing techniques, quality and environmental systems and most importantly of all, their highly skilled workforce: does this sound like the type of company that can offer you the career development you desire? In an ideal world, we would like to find an experienced Patternmaker with at least one year's experience. However, they will also consider someone who has created moulds and pattern designs. Regardless of where you come from, you will be an excellent communicator, adept to working in a fast-moving industrial environment and be ready to take on the following duties: Altering patterns and filling the design. Repairing pattern equipment. Reading and interpreting drawings. Checking pattern dimensions. My client is offering a competitive basic salary (circa £28,000) with occasional overtime being available.
