Title: Payer Analytics Lead Location: Based either Cambridge (United Kingdom) or Gaithersburg (United States) Therapy Area: Oncology Salary: Highly competitive salary exceptional benefits on offer Evolve Consultant: Andy Boyd Ref: 7396 A market-leading Pharmaceutical company is in the process of creating a brand new team, working with a specialist Oncology portfolio on a global basis. Essential Requirements You will have a strong background in Health Economics. Experience of working in international markets is ideal. Educated to degree level in Health Economics or a relevant subject. Experience developing Outcomes-based Agreements. Ideally in-depth expert knowledge and technical capability in health economics and payer evidence needs - clinical modelling, evidence synthesis and other analytical techniques required to support payer needs. Relevant drug development and/or commercialisation experience within the pharmaceutical/medical industry. Demonstratable robust understanding of health technology assessment methods and processes. Able to apply knowledge and understanding of payer analytic techniques in appropriate circumstances (including evidence synthesis, economic/clinical outcomes, and modelling), taking into account their relative strengths and limitations. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to understand clinical trial data. Role Responsibilities Core member of a Global IVS Working Group, which includes global cross-functional members and representation from key markets. Evaluating clinical and health-care outcome construct options and working with Clinical Development and Medical Affairs colleagues to gain alignment on constructs. Identify and develop opportunities/risk evaluations of clinical and health-care outcome constructs, and delivering mitigation plans that support markets implementing IVS Frameworks. Work closely with Health Economics & Payer Evidence Leads/Directors to ensure consistent use of clinical and health-care outcomes across both outcome-based agreements and health-economics models and deliverables. Develop a brand-specific and/or disease area clinical and health-care outcome construct module, which in collaboration with Financial Analyst, IVS will be integrated into a Global IVS Frameworks Module. Drive the required payer insights and research to ensure robust and validated constructs. Communicate project issues and progress effectively and in a timely manner to all stakeholders. As required by the business, ensure effective budget planning and secure resources to IVS Frameworks. Support key markets in negotiations with reimbursement authorities.
