Sales Engineer Employment type: Permanent, full-time Location: Cardiff Hours: Monday to Thursday- 8am to 5pm and Friday- 8am to 1pm Salary: £25,000-£30,000 p.a. basic bonus Due to continued growth, my client is now seeking a Sales Engineer to join their business in Cardiff. This is an office-based Sales position. My client is a manufacturer of bespoke, electro-mechanical, industrial products. They are a well-established organisation, supplying their products to a number of industries. They have an excellent reputation in their field. The role Reporting into the Sales Manager, the Sales Executive will be responsible for the following: Responding to email and telephone enquiries from clients Outlining clients' requirements Providing clients with technical information regarding products Liaising with the Design team to check the feasibility of client requests Putting together quotations Closing sales Account management- catch-up calls with current customer base Some outbound sales to prospective customers Quotes of works for my client's products and systems range from the £100s to £10,000s. Experience/ Skills Required Previous experience as a Sales Executive/ Sales Engineer Experience working in an Engineering business Electrical engineering experience would be ideal Experience within heating/ ventilation would be desirable Excellent communication abilities This is a great opportunity to join a well-established business, with a product which is in high demand.
