Cloud Engineer - £45,000 - £60,000 - London - GCP Training offered, Programming, Sys Admin Lynx Recruitment is working with a global consultancy who are looking to add a Cloud Engineer to their team in London. As a Cloud Engineer, you will work within a team of Engineers and Operations personnel building highly resilient and scalable GCP infrastructure in an automated and efficient manner for clients. My client is looking for someone who is keen to learn. All training will be offered within the Cloud/DevOps sector from programming to GCP. You will also be put through ENGINEER AND ARCHITECT certifications in GCP, paid by the business. Responsibilities: - Building and managing our customers GCP environments and projects to enable application deployments - Engineer solutions on GCP foundation platform using Infrastructure-As-A-Code methods (eg Terraform, Deployment Manager) Skills: - Experience of building a range of Services in a cloud service provider, ideally GCP. - Understanding of DevOps principles and Infrastructure-as-a-Code concepts and techniques. - Ideally programming experience in one or more of the following languages: Python, Ruby, Java, JavaScript, Go, Groovy or Scala - Server administration (either Linux and Windows) - Automation Scripting (using Scripting languages such as Terraform, Ansible etc.) If this Cloud Engineer is of interest, please apply
