Overview
My client, who are a long standing, incredibly successful market leading manufacturing company have an exciting role available for a Cost Accountant/Analyst. The company is going from strength to strength, they have a new product range and plenty of projects for the successful candidate to get stuck into. Working closely with the Head of Finance, some of the duties and responsibilities will include: Drive savings and add value to the business supporting the company's continuous improvement strategy. Take the lead of high profile projects The management and control of costs, identifying opportunities for improvement New product costings and annual budget preparation, implementation of site targets and overhead management Analysis and management of cost centre performance Assisting Project Management teams, applying accurate costing data to validate decision making Proactively managing financial awareness in various teams to ensure departmental maintenance of stringent financial controls The Person: Ideally a Finalist or Qualified Accountant Experience in a similar role Strong analytically with good manufacturing experience Dedicated and hardworking Ambitious
