Overview
                                Macildowie is pleased to be working with a Coventry based organisation as they look to recruit an experienced Buyer to join their growing Purchasing Department. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will be tasked with:  Deliver category management solutions and strategy  Pro-actively manage supplier contracts and performance  Undertake tendering process to achieve value for money  Review and re-negotiate existing supplier contracts and pricing  Supplier Management and reporting  Produce meaningful Management Information to the wider business To be considered for this role, you must be able to demonstrate the following:  Previous experience in an Indirect Purchasing role  Experience in purchasing business services ideally  An understanding of 3rd party risk would be advantageous  Either CIPS qualified or studying towards (support will be offered)  Strong communications skill  Able to build strong working relationships internally and externally  Commercially aware  Computer literate including Intermediate Excel. This is a rare opportunity to join this organisation in a newly created role, and will offer the successful candidate a salary of up to £35,000 plus ability to work from home at least once per week.
