Plant Manager (Anaerobic digestion) Dorchester, Dorset £45'000 Progression Bonus Company Vehicle Pension Holidays Excellent opportunity for a senior manager with a background in anaerobic digestion to join an ambitious company where you can stamp your mark on the entire facility. The UK are going through a major transition phase as we looking to be carbon neutral by 2050. To be in line with these changes this company are pioneering the way in the biogas industry to create green and clean energy solutions. In this role the Plant Manager will be leading the site operations team on a biomethane to grid anaerobic digestion facility, including a newly developed CO2 capture plant. You will be ensuring the site is complying with H&S and environmental standards, overseeing documentation and record keeping and assisting with the management of mechanical maintenance and technical support The ideal candidate will have good experience in complex operations and management, and will preferably have knowledge the anaerobic digestion. Candidates who don't have anaerobic digestion but come from an Agricultural background or Gas background are encourages to apply. The role: Manage the operations team on site Oversee documentation and record keeping Ensure H&S and environmental compliance on site Maintain tidy and professional standards on site Assist management of mechanical maintenance and technical support The Person: Experience with complex engineering operations and management Good knowledge of H&S and safety protocols Experience dealing with external contractors and stakeholders AD industry experience.
