AL187: Commissioning Engineer Location: M4 Corridor (Covering South of England) Salary: £32,000 - £34,000 OTE £44,000 Overview: First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Commissioning Engineer on behalf of one of our clients. The position would form part of the Southern Area team with significant opportunity for international assignments (there is an additional 10% uplift to salary for international assignments). Duties and Responsibilities: Update customer with timings of arrival and progress of work carried out. Ensure all site worksheets/timesheets all complete and signed Ensure van warehouse inventory levels are maintained and inform office of inaccuracies Maintain a tidy and safe vehicle Request and book out parts following the correct procedures Attend regular engineers training days contribute to these as a presenter possibly and where ever possible make sure that the training focused and appropriate based on “engineers feedback forms and meeting” Upload software and drawing changes to the office, wherever possible photograph site at install and upload to the server in the project file for ongoing use by service Inform office of any systems changes and take photos where necessary Feedback to office engineering change suggestions Installation of all products, including access control systems Commissioning of all products, including access control systems. Installation and commissioning of 3rd party products the company sell Servicing of all products (including manual products) Skills and Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 electrical / Mechanical` 18th Edition Wiring Regs Communicate written and oral information clearly and concisely Establishe productive, cooperative relationships with customers, peers and management.
