Service Engineer

Our Client, a leading supplier in Oil & Heating has an opportunity for a Service Engineer to join their Boiler Maintenance department in Connel. The main role of the Service Engineer will be to respond, fault find and carry out the appropriate repairs and maintenance on all domestic and small industrial oil heating appliances covering Oban and surrounding Argyll area. The ideal Service Engineer will: · Have a strong attention to details · Be able to work as part of a team as well as on their own · Be reliable, with an excellent work ethic · Be a time served Engineer, OFTEC qualified with a strong background within a maintenance role · Have a degree of physical capability, due to the nature of the role The successful candidate will work on a temporary assignment for approx. 3-6 months. Due to the nature of this role candidates must have a driving licence as a company vehicle is provided. The Service Engineer will typically work 40 hours per week through Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am – 5pm but flexibility is essential to overtime and weekend work.
