Overview

Durham Federation is made up of two school sites in Sacriston and Ushaw Moor. The federation is currently looking to expand their team of IT experts through the addition of a Baltic apprentice who will support in a range of areas across the school. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start a career within IT and will offer them experience being part of a helpdesk support function. The right candidate will be confident, mature and passionate about starting a career in IT support. Find out more about information about Durham Federation here: / Roles & Responsibilities: Typical roles and responsibilities include (but are not limited to): First Line technical support Hardware and Software installation and configuration Maintaining the website Fixing printer issues Supporting all users across the schools Supporting and maintaining the network Full training and support will be provided throughout your apprenticeship by both Baltic Apprenticeships and Durham Federation. Desired Qualities, Skills & Knowledge: Confident personality Mature Attitude Professional Mindset Passionate about IT Eager to learn Grade 3 GCSE or Functional Skills Level 2 English Grade 4 GCSE or Functional Skills Level 2 Maths Salary, Hours & Benefits: £8775 per annum 8am to 4pm (30 Minutes for lunch) 3:30 Finish on a friday 26 holidays Bank Holidays There are career progression opportunities available upon completion of the programme. You, along with your employer, may progress to a Level 4 programme, and take your training even further.
