UX Engineer

One of the UK’s leading logistics companies based in the Birmingham area are currently seeking a UX Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. You will be joining the Engineering team who are in the midst of transitioning to modern architecture and require a talented engineer to drive them forward. They are still totally independent and family owned and pride themselves on creating an environment that enables personal growth and development for their employees The Role Work within a thriving product team to effectively contribute with the development of new exciting and innovative features. Implement the designs with a keen focus on UI and UX. Craft best-in-practice interfaces, wireframes and prototypes that highlight a great understanding of guidelines for mobile interfaces and UI patterns for mobile devices Contribute to the improvement of integration and internal tools. Help the team to improve the front end process. The Candidate Comprehensive understanding of JavaScript programming Knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks, ideally Vue.js but React & Angular will also be considered Ability to work collaboratively with: UX Leads, Product Owners, Content Designers, Researchers and UI Designers in an agile environment. Ability to work creatively from briefs within a team and independently Solid experience with InDesign, Photoshop, Sketch etc. This role can provide a UX Engineer with the opportunity to take a lead on business critical projects, enabling you to see the impact of your work.
