Overview

We are a healthcare provider that specialises in personalised care for people with brain injuries. We are looking for additional Support Workers in Southampton. If you are reliable, empathetic, patient and have good communication skills we want to hear from you. We have shifts available every Monday 4pm to 10pm. We also have alternating shifts on Monday 12pm to 4pm and Sundays from 12pm to 5pm/5pm to 10pm. The rate of pay ranges from £9.37 to £11.71 per hour. We also pay for your mileage. We offer all our support workers a free enhanced DBS check and 25 days of paid annual holiday. You will have 24/7 contact with the office staff, as well as regular supervisions and appraisals. We are a very receptive team with an open-door policy, and our aim is to ensure that you feel safe and happy doing your job. We will also provide you with extensive paid training, accredited Care Certificate, as well as specialist nurse led approach for clinical needs. About the Client You will be working as part of the team that supports a man in his 50s who lives in Southampton. You will provide support all aspects of personal care, and clinical care for which you will receive full training. We are very keen in helping him continue his rehabilitation process, so supporting him with the hydrotherapy and other activities will be a top priority of this role. You will also ensure his safety at all times when out in the community. The right candidate must be patient and calm to provide the consistency and support this gentleman needs with his daily routines and create a safe environment for him to live a happy life to his full potential.
