Reporting into the Brewing Manager, as part of our exciting growth plan, our Chiswick brewery are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Shift Brewer to join the team. The Shift Brewer will be critical in the efficient running of the brewery and responsible in the production of our super-premium beer. To operate the brewhouse on a shift basis, and be responsible for the malt milling, mashing, boiling and hop additions Responsible for the production of wort to the correct quality and Asahi standard To work with other members of the brewing team to maximize efficiencies and support improvement processes Maintain a high level of Health and Safety at all times Other duties as directed by Brewer Manager If you have the below experience, we’d love to hear from you Experience of running a brew-house and working in a production environment Demonstrable analytical, problem solving and planning skills Have or be working to IBD diploma Strong IT skills and experience using SAP and SCADA A strong team player and focus on attention to detail A reliable individual, happy to work flexible shifts Working Pattern: Working patterns will vary and include: 5am - 1pm or 12 - 8pm, therefore the successful individual will need to be able to accommodate an early or late working pattern and flexible with their shifts. Furthermore, please note there is limited parking at our Chiswick brewery therefore the successful candidate must consider routes of transport which would be suitable alongside the shifts.
