Job: Design Engineer Location: Leicester Term: Permanent Salary: Circa £33,000 PA DoE Premier Engineering are currently recruiting on behalf of client who specialise in the design, development and manufacture of bespoke conveyor and automation machinery for clients within the food industry and they are on the lookout for a Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis at their site in Leicester. The ideal Design Engineer will have the following qualities: 4 years’ experience within a Design Engineering environment Ability to produce high-quality engineering drawings for use in manufacture 3D CAD Design Experience (Ideally Inventor) Experience working on (some or all) conveyor systems, automation systems, Robotics, Special Purpose Machinery Food industry experience advantageous The Design Engineer role will involve: Forming part of a 6 person design team Commercial designing and detailing of conveyors and automation engineering solutions.
