Firmware (FPGA) Design Engineer Contract: 6 months Location: Luton (LU1) Rate: £42.70 P/H LTD Hours: 37 P/W An aerospace and defence organisation are looking to add an experienced Firmware Design Engineer to the team in Luton. The successful Firmware (FPGA) Design Engineer will have the following responsibilities Design of complex FPGAs which will form part of the firm's self-protection systems installed on fast jet, UAX, land and naval platforms. The successful FPGA Design Engineer should have the following skills and attributes Proven ability of complex FPGA Designs (Xilinx &/ or Altera) Proven understanding of DSP algorithm Development SoC configurations (using Power PC or ARM cores) Proven understanding of FPGA Design tools (Xilin EDK, Xilinx ISE, Xilinx XST, Vivado, Mentor Graphics HDL Designer, Precision Synthesis, ModelSim, Verilog, UltraScale) ADDITIONAL WE SEEL AN ENGINEER WHO HAS WORKED IN A MILITARY / DEFENCE ENVIRONMENT / INDUSTRY WITHIN THE LAST 12 MONTHS OR WHO IS CAPABLE OF OBTAINING SECURITY CLEARANCE (SC LEVEL MINIMUM) UKEO Firmware (FPGA) Design Engineer Contract: 6 months Location: Luton (LU1) Rate: £42.70 P/H LTD Hours: 37 P/W This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89899256
