Microbiologist

Our client is an international Life Sciences company providing analytical testing services to a range of markets and industries. They are currently looking for a Microbiologist to join their team in Liverpool to support product formulation and development. The products cover a range of Consumer Personal Care and Home Care products. Key Responsibilities and Duties: Support the R&D team in the development of New Product Formulations Provide antimicrobial services and automated analysis through aseptic techniques, microplate inoculation and microbiological evaluation Contribute to product improvement and quality Conduct investigative work associated with product efficiency Deliver continuous process improvement Manage Logistics, COSHH, and safety to ensure cleanroom compliance (FDA, GLP) Generate and maintain documentation and ensure all procedures are up to date Participate in internal audits to ensure compliance to regulatory requirements Ideal Skills and Qualifications: BSc in Microbiology or related discipline Working knowledge of aseptic techniques, microplate inoculation and microbiological evaluation; essential Ability to work with and maintain automated systems and equipment Industrial experience within Consumer Personal Care and Home Care products; desirable Previously managed SOPs, Logistics, COSHH and H&S; desirable Capable in delivering process improvement Excellent communication and organisational skills with focus on quality and customer service If you are interested or have any questions about this role, feel free to contact Harriet at CY Partners.
