Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Housing advice and homelessness team leader to work for a local authority organisation based in East London. The ideal candidate would have experience in a similar role with team leader responsibilities. Key duties: Line managing a team of officers, who provide, front line homelessness and housing advice. Taking responsibility for the forward planning, monitoring and operational management of the section and for the service delivery of the post holders team. Working as part of an out of hours homelessness service to meet statutory requirements. Ensuring the organisation delivers a high quality, effective and efficient housing and homelessness advice service. Operating as a key member of the management team for the housing advice and homelessness section. Ensuring the appropriate guidance, procedures and instructions are in place for staff to be able to offer a high quality service. Taking responsibility as a member of the management team to continuously maintain, improve and develop a high quality customer focused service.
