Family Solicitor, 3 PQE, London, Salary £39,000 to £45,000 (DOE) plus benefits. Established High Street practice. Due to expansion, this thriving family practice has a requirement for an experienced Family Solicitor to join their successful team. Culturally, the firm are keen to promote on merit and ideally looking for Lawyers with a sound approach to client care, a good understanding of developments in the Family market and a desire to be involved in future business development. OVERVIEW: • The appointed solicitor will have a thorough appreciation of issues surrounding care proceedings and domestic violence cases and the ability to engage easily with people • Equally as important as having the right experience to effectively fulfil this role, is the possession of the right personal qualities to offer the level of care expected by clients of the firm • As well as being a UK qualified Solicitor, the right person must have specific legal aid family law experience with some focus on ancillary relief cases • A self-sufficient fee earner with a proven track record of finding solutions to client challenges, you will actively seek new responsibilities and welcome the opportunity to work upon your own initiative • As an individual committed to a long term legal career, you will possess the highest level of personal integrity and will be known for your ability to deal with individuals with empathy and respect • Once appointed, you will have full accountability for a busy caseload of legal aid family matters and for continuing to grow a healthy and robust business going forwards • Your active and dynamic approach to work and getting things done will make you an asset to any firm
