Overview
Established over 50 years ago, our client is a growing 3 Partner high street law firm. The firm is based in central Oxford and is well known in the area for providing quality legal advice to both commercial and private clients throughout the region. The Care Department within the firm is thriving with a wealth of work being generated by its existing clients. As part of succession planning, the firm is looking to appoint a solicitor or legal executive to join the buoyant team of 3 other fee earners. As the Child Care Solicitor, you will join the Public Law Team dealing with all aspects of family law to involve social services care proceedings, adoption, special guardianship and child abduction. This is a client-facing role and the firm seeks a certain individual with aspirations to assist growing the Care Department in the future. The ideal candidate will have experience as a legal aid supervisor representing parents. You will ideally know the Oxfordshire market and will be sufficiently well networked with a minimum of 2 years' previous experience handing child care matters. When applying for this Oxford based child care solicitor role, it would be advantageous if you have prior experience as a legal aid supervisor and/or Panel Membership. In return for your hard work and commitment, the practice is offering a genuine career path to include progression and a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package which includes the option of agile working. Salary is negotiable and dependent on experience paying £35,000 - £45,000 for the right candidate.
