As their Business Analyst, you will be responsible for all aspects of analysis, from requirements gathering, process mapping to systems design. As market leaders in the provision of various software solutions in our core market, you will contribute towards the overall delivery of a wide range of projects. Responsibilities: Collaborating with the Technical Team to help design, deliver and implement their projects in line with customer vision and expectation Supporting the customer's journey and working alongside Sales, Project and Support Delivery teams to achieve the delivery of software solutions Engaging with customers and their wider businesses to support the drawing out of underlying business requirements to produce project scoping documentation including functional/non-functional requirements, often in the form of User Stories Identifying and analysing customer's objectives and definitions of value; making sure to provide appropriate, realistic and scalable solutions which manage risk for both the company and the customer Collaborating with and support key project stakeholders to make sure there is a clear level of understanding regarding contribution levels and delivery objectives Planning and facilitating workshops, interviews and customer research in collaboration with the Technical and Project Delivery teams Creating wireframes or prototypes, working with the Technical team to ensure compatibility with technical specifications Supporting the scoping process between designers and the customer to ensure the successful completion of designs Leading and participating in typical project activities and ceremonies such as Backlog refinement, Planning, Retrospectives and Stand Ups Guiding the process of prioritising requirements, balancing both the business and technical needs or restrictions Coordinating and preparing the delivery of client training Reviewing and contributing towards sales proposals, working closely with the Solution Architecture and Commercial teams Being involved in testing procedures and planning, supporting the Test Team to make sure testing is completed in line with project objectives Requirements: 2 years experience working in the software industry University education or appropriate further software industry experience Demonstrable business analysis experience; specifically eliciting requirements from customers and stakeholders Experience of preparing technical business requirements Experience with software development practices including Agile/Scrum methodology and supporting tools such as JIRA, Azure Devops or similar Excellent organisational skills Experience of wireframing and associated tools e.g. Axure RP or similar (desirable) Design awareness (desirable) Understanding of the concepts that drive business decisions (desirable) Understanding of best practice for user-experience (desirable) About you: Proven communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to talk and listen effectively at all levels An excellent writer with creative vision and ability to summarise complex technical concepts in a way that can be understood by a non-technical audience Analytical problem-solver with high attention to detail Proven organisation and planning skills, ability to work to tight deadlines across multiple projects A collaborator who is a good team player Grasps technical details, retaining and recalling this information with ease Process-driven with a willingness to learn and challenge yourself to continually improve Solid experience in understanding and defining both the business and technical aspects of organisations and software applications Can work independently to drive and own the analysis of projects Enjoys working in a varying environment, across a diverse range of industries Benefits: Flexible working - core hours 10:00 - 16:00 Single private healthcare (you can add members of your family at an additional cost) Confidential Employee Assistance Programme 3% employer pension contributions 3 x annual salary life assurance Subsidised gym membership 24 days holiday, plus 1 day's annual leave gifted over the Christmas period Annual salary and discretionary performance-related bonus reviews Recruitment referral scheme Reward and recognition scheme Working from Home policy Pension contributions Discretionary enhanced company sick pay Great internal culture - work hard and play hard Supportive and driven team And more Sounds interesting?
