IT Risk Analyst About the company… Traditionally not known for their technical capabilities our client is completing multiple transformations. The technical teams keep the company at the forefront of technology and as the company scales in projects and size, they have an exciting IT department that are constantly thinking of new ways to improve their functions. About you… You will have a good background within Risk Analysis and be competent escalating risks when and where appropriate. You'll have an analytical mindset with a strong ability to analyse and interpret data, confident making assessments that provide recommendations and options around the treatment of Risk. You've performed risk analysis extensively and feel confident communicating concise and accurate information within a fast-paced environment. You'll know your way around IT services, systems and networks, with a proactive mindset and experience managing operational risk within the IT department. What you'll be doing… •Working closely with Data, Systems, Product & Process Owners, you will be responsible for identifying and documenting possible risks across the business •You'll perform reviews on vital risks across IT, proposing risk treatment decisions •Assisting support to projects, programmes and initiatives •Perform Risk & Control Assessments across the IT department •Present Risk Awareness training when needed What we're ideally looking for… •Ability to engage across all levels of the business; from stakeholder advise through to technical recommendations with analyst / engineers. •Ideally experienced within an IT Risk Analyst position, ability to assess the emerging Risk landscape and provide detailed reports back to the business. •A good technical understanding of the principles of IT Services, Systems, Networks Desirable…. In an ideal world, you'll also have a strong awareness of regulatory requirements within the Financial Services industry. You'll have already been trained in Audit, Compliance and Risk controls; maybe you've worked with Jira or Confluence before, or have some training in ITIL. Even better if you've had exposure to ISO 27001.
