The Delivery Group has their own network of service centres with leading edge automation supporting a vast range of services nationwide. Job Overview This is a permanent full-time office-based role.The hours are 35.5 hours per week worked between the core hours of 8am-6pm Monday to Friday.It is essential that candidates are flexible to work outside of the normal core hours when required. The main purpose of this role is to provide a comprehensive support service to the Company, performing predominantly 1st and some 2nd line duties as requested (anticipated to increase) in order to maintain efficient management of the Company’s IT systems, whilst providing support to all ONEPOST employees and contractors across the UK. Main Duties: 1st Line Duties: · Deal with 1st line support tickets. · Set up accounts for new starters and delete accounts for leavers. · Troubleshoot users PC, Printer and Email queries. · Manage Office 365 licences. · Build PCs and load them with software to a standard build. · Assist maintaining records for asset management and insurance purposes. · PAT testing of new electrical equipment. · Resolve service requests and incidents in the service desk. · A contact point for other company locations. · Manage print consumables. · Receive and despatch IT equipment. · Undertake work in support of IT projects or service initiatives. · Complete IT Checklists 2nd Line Duties: · Deal with 2nd line support tickets. · Install and configure Windows servers. · Set up domain controllers and servers. · Provide operations/support cover for the Infrastructure Engineer. About you: As a successful IT Support Analyst, you will need: Qualifications: · A-level standard/Degree in science desirable but not essential. Technical skills: · Strong PC skills (Windows 10) and MS Office skills. · Basic server administration. · Basic networking skills Experience: 1st Line Duties: · 3 years’ experience of supporting and maintaining Windows desktop (including Windows 10) · 3 years’ experience of supporting Microsoft Office (2016 and Office 365) · 3 years’ experience of using Active Directory · Experience of computer imaging (ideally Windows Deployment Services) · Experience of using a Mobile Device Management system · Experience of using a Service Desk 2nd Line Duties: · Basic experience of installing, supporting, and maintaining Windows server (min 2012R2) · Basic experience of installing, supporting, and maintaining DNS, DHCP & Group policies · Basic experience of installing, supporting, and maintaining virtualisation software (Hyper-V) · Basic experience of installing, supporting, and maintaining Microsoft SQL server · Basic experience of installing, supporting, and maintaining Microsoft IIS server · Basic experience of installing, supporting, and maintaining Microsoft print server · Basic experience of corporate firewalls and configuration Other (Desirable): •MCSA qualification •Familiar with the ITIL Framework •Experience in direct marketing or mail industry •PAT testing experience •Experience supporting Apple equipment Personal attributes: •Ability to balance conflicting demands of own workload whilst working as part of a team. •Willing and able to manage both 1st and 2nd line duties. •Organised, hard working with the ability work under pressure and to take the initiative to achieve deadlines. •Confidentiality and integrity is essential The package: · Competitive salary and reward structure · £26k-28k pa depending on experience · Company contributed Worksave Pension scheme · 23 days holiday rising with service · Voluntary salary sacrifice schemes · Life cover, Employee Assistance Programme and other service-related benefits · Free car parking available Start date: Ideally you will be able to start as soon as possible to enable a successful handover with our exiting IT Support Analyst.
