Job Title: CONTRACT ANALYST Location: Milton Keynes Salary: £25 000 - £28 000/annum 10% discretionary bonus Type: Permanent Timely Recruit is recruiting a Contract Analyst to work in the Energy and Utilities sector. You will be working with a Renewable Energy company - working towards cleaner energy and reducing customers home and business utility bills. Who you are : · Fantastic attention to detail · Technical – Excel skills and understanding of SQL/VBA · Analytical and a head for numbers · Energy/utilities experience is advantageous · Keen interest to work in the Energy sector Responsibilities : · Maintain the production of accurate and timely prices within their pricing system · Evaluate and validate energy contracts in line with guidelines · Minimize the risks associate with the energy pricing and contracting process · Make recommendation based on risk/reward analysis · Run performance reports, interpret and provide insight behind the numbers · Maintain existing process documents, identifying gaps and introduce process improvements. · Analysis, analyse, analyst - · Respond to request from sales and operations relating to the pricing, credit and structuring of utility customer tenders · Portfolio analysis and understanding the inherent risks · Supporting audits of data · Develop system improvements and responsible for UAT testing · Responsible for some cost stack elements Your background includes: · Previous experience in the Energy/ Utilities industry – highly desirable · 2.?1 or higher in a numerical/?business discipline, or equivalent · Technical, excellent Excel skills with an understand of SQL / VBA or desire to learn · Proactive, driven and keen to take on responsibility · Can work under pressure to tight deadlines · Analytical and analytically minded, able to problem solve and conceive new ways of working · Excellent communication skills, written and oral · Disciplined and organized approach to work Please get in touch with us to discuss your interest in the Energy Contract Analyst role This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89816528
