Overview
Child Protection Advisor - Haringey Service Care Solutions is looking for a Child Protection Advisor to work as part of Haringey Council. The role will include providing off-line scrutiny of arrangements for children in need of care and protection. This is a permanent role. SALARY - £50,464 - £53,482 CLOSING DATE - 12TH MARCH 2020 HOW TO APPLY - If you are interested in this role, send your CV now to Jennifer at jennifer.lynchservicecare.org.uk or alternatively call 01772 208964 QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE •Social Work Qualification •Active HCPC registration •Significant experience of chairing complex multi-agency meetings •Substantial post qualification experience in statutory children's social work services, with evidence of direct work with looked after children, children subject to child protection plans and their families ROLE REQUIREMENTS •To attend and advise the multi-agency network regarding care safeguarding practice for children and young people •To provide consultation with Social Workers, Managers and other professionals to provide advice and guidance •To ensure a written CP Conference, with a SMART Plan summarising any decisions or recommendations that have been agreed, is produced in a timely manner and distributed to all relevant parties •To develop and deliver training packages to both single and multi-agency audiences in respect of child protections/safeguarding and childcare matters About Haringey Council We are investing in creating a better borough for all our residents and improving the lives of children and young people in Haringey is our first corporate priority.
