Overview

A number of fantastic Business Analyst opportunities have arisen within a Housing and Social Change organisation based in Merseyside. Due to significant investment in the organisations capability and strategy, the business analysts will form part of a new change team, set up to deliver business improvement projects as well as increase the overall maturity of the change space and engage with stakeholders in a positive way. The Business Analyst will be required t o investigate and analyse efficiencies of business activities and processes, understanding the organisation’s needs, business model, workflows and IT systems. The Business Analyst will be responsible for defining business problems and designing appropriate solutions to address business problems, making recommendations to the Project Manager to improve business efficiency and effectiveness. The organisation are looking to hire passionate, enthusiastic business analysts with a passion for change to support their journey and demonstrate a flexible attitude to responsibilities within the team. Main duties To understand business needs and undertake required business analysis to identify change requirements To facilitate group workshops and meetings to enable diagnosis of business problems, gathering of business requirements and future process design To gather, identify and document business requirements that can be used to assist future process design and identification of sustainable solutions To undertake business process modelling and improve business processes that meet business needs and enable the group to deliver against its strategic objectives To identify costs and business savings in line with the group’s strategic objectives To deliver and support the implementation of projects through the delivery of high-quality outputs from all business analysis activity and working closely with project managers and teams throughout the project lifecycle Work closely with stakeholders from across the group to implement, test and deploy solutions to business problems To support business transition and help establish and embed change, ensuring desired business benefits are realised To create functional specifications for new systems and processes which leads to their successful development and implementation Ensure that our Customers are at the heart of everything Skills and Experience Required Previous Business Analysis experience, at least 2 years working on change initiatives Must have demonstrable experience of Process mapping, business change and/or documentation of business requirements Ability to gather and interpret business information and convert clear change requirements Previous experience of conducting workshops to gather requirements Experience managing and engaging stakeholders across all parts of the variety of the business and be comfortable presenting Ideally have experience working with technical teams, being able to articulate business requirements and support the production of technical suggestions to key business problems Ideally experience working within a customer focused business area Please not, this role is not a technical, IT Analyst and applications must have clear experience working on change projects.
