Overview
A professional services client of mine are looking to recruit an IT Manager based out of their Bristol office. The organisation has grown rapidly over the last few years and is looking for an passionate IT focused individual to head up their IT capability. This is a new role, the successful candidate will drive the firm's IT strategy forward and champion the use of IT internally. A key aspect of the role will be leading the implementation of IT projects alongside maintaining and managing their ongoing relationships with technology service providers. You will also have responsibility for setting the IT budget and ensuring this is adhered to. The successful candidate will have experience of leading IT strategy, managing third party agreements, making purchasing decisions and managing the IT budget. A passion for IT is key along with a keen interest in trends within the technology sector, as the role requires the ability to advise the senior management team on IT best practice. Experience with Microsoft Cloud Services essential as is Active Directory, Windows Server, GPO, Windows 10 and MS Office. An ITIL or PRINCE2 qualification would be desirable.
