Overview
We’re seeking an Automation Engineer to join a well-known software company with offices in Scotland and the US. This role will be based in Glasgow City Centre. You will be responsible for the design, development and execution of automated testing of web products using a variety of automation and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools. We are looking for someone with a passion for automation, programming and coding; a strong team player with proven ability to see projects to completion. To be successful in this role you’ll already be an experienced Automation Engineer. You’ll have the ability to script in technologies such as C#, Java, JavaScript and AngularJS. You’ll have cloud experience in either AWS or Microsoft Azure. You will be configuring performance, load and stress testing using automated tools, ensuring production of high-quality deliverables that are scalable and performant alongside assisting Senior Automation Engineers with regard to management and configuration of the test environment, working with engineering colleagues such as Dev, Architecture and DevOps.
