Overview
Are you a confident and credible business development manager keen to sell business intelligence software into the pharmaceutical and medical sectors? Have contacts in the medical/pharma industry and keen to move into a SaaS software company? Company snapshot: Specialist business intelligence company providing invaluable insight and usable current data to the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors Established and well respected SaaS software company Work with some of the largest pharmaceutical and medical companies in the world Growing business looking to add to their sales team to grow market share Small, informal and highly successful team The role: As Business Development Manager you will initially focus on generating new business, with the support of a small internal team to work with you to generate new leads and pass on qualified prospects Scope and close new business opportunities and follow up on internal and external leads Develop and maintain a network of business clients providing ongoing key account management to identify upsell opportunities Attend network meetings, exhibitions and regional events to present key solutions to potential clients Maximise customer engagement, deliver product training and work closely with the technical team to ensure seamless sign-up the subscription services. About you: Experienced selling into the phamaceutical/medical device industry Confident, credible and passionate about customer success and building long-lasting trusting relationships Track record of achieving challenging sales targets Keen to work for a small company with very large clients and a highly regarded reputation where you can make a demonstrable difference The package: Basic salary circa £45,000 (potential to go to £50,000 for someone with all the experience) Realistic OTE £80,000 although uncapped Flexible, informal working environment If this isn't quite right, we are recruiting for plenty of other sales, account management and customer success opportunities across the East of England.
