Supervising Family Solicitor
Overview
A national family law firm has instructed LAW Absolute on their need for a family solicitor who has experience leading and managing a team of fee earners. In this role, you will be undertaking all aspects of leadership and day to day management for a team of fee earners. You are responsible for mentoring, supporting and developing them to deliver exceptional client care and quality legal work, as well as running your own successful caseload. You will be a family lawyer (solicitor or chartered legal executive) and will be responsible for a caseload of family work and supervising a small team of fee-earners. Therefore, previous supervisory experience is an essential requirement. You will also be/have: Strong communication skills both written and oral with clients, staff and others Self-motivated, clear thinking and able to carry out case work accurately and without supervision Commercially aware, you ensure that files are billed on time and strive to achieve yours and your teams financial targets An ambitious lawyer who is committed to growing with the practice Strong leadership skills with the ability to command respect quickly but avoiding confrontation building strong working relationships with key individuals Please note our advertisements use PQE/salary levels purely as a guide.
