Client Accountant (Maternity Cover) Location: Whiteley Salary: Competitive An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Client Accountant to join our extremely successful wealth management business, Eight Wealth Management Ltd, who are Principal Partners of St. James’s Place Wealth Management Plc on a temporary basis to provide maternity cover. St. James’s Place Wealth Management plc (SJP) is a leading, and highly regarded, FTSE 100 UK Wealth Management company which distributes a range of Investment and Retirement products and financial solutions to a High Net Worth client base. Eight Wealth Management Ltd was the first partnership within SJP to hit in excess of £1.1bn of FUM which we are extremely proud of. The Role - Client Accountant Manage client portfolio of personal tax return clients and small corporate clients. This will include the preparation of self-assessment tax returns, partnership tax returns, year-end financial statements, corporate tax returns, VAT returns ( compliance work), company secretarial work Direct others within the tax & accountancy team on specific jobs to assist you with the client compliance work Deal directly with clients to discuss their Tax & Accountancy needs and ongoing client compliance work Meet with potential new clients to outline our services and fees Liaise with advisers to gather information on clients for use in compliance work Dealing with ad-hoc tax queries from clients and advisers within the business and produce relevant tax calculations. The Person - Client Accountant The successful candidate would have a minimum of three years practice experience, prepared to hit the road running and do a solid job during the cover period. The candidate would also be Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CTA or by experience). Our Finance team is a small team, so personality as well as experience is key. We are looking for that person who can build relationships quickly with advisers and clients and be a massive support to the team. Whilst this role falls within a wider team, this is an independent role, and therefore we are looking for a confident self-starter and ultimately amazing person This is a high pressured, fast paced environment, built around an amazing group of people.
