Semi Senior Accountant

A historic Accountancy Practice, based in Stockport, are looking to add a Semi Senior Accountant to their growing team. You will be working as a Semi Senior Accountant and responsible for completing assignments from start to finish with minimal supervision. You will be a team player with a passion for your profession and excellent interpersonal, planning and organisational skills. You will also be capable of completing assignments from start to finish with minimal supervision Your duties will include: Preparing both management accounts and year end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. Liaising with clients to resolve queries. Ensuring assignments are completed to deadlines and within the budget allocated. Liaising with the tax team and drafting Corporation Tax computations. Person specification: Ideally, you will be ACCA or ACA qualified/part qualified or qualified by experience. You will have a minimum of three years' proven practice experience within a small to medium sized practice. You will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel, Sage, Xero and Quickbooks. Experience of preparing financial statements for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. Audit experience is also desirable, along with preparation of cashflow forecasts, business plans, and the preparation of management accounts.
