Overview

Project Manager (Financial Services, IT, Business Change) position in central Cardiff - £45,000 - 50,000 DOE excellent benefits A job opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join one of the largest financial services organisations in South Wales on a permanent basis. This position is based at a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation, who have won multiple awards. The Project Manager will take responsibility for managing multiple Business Change and IT projects including Software Delivery, Network and Infrastructure Delivery, Data and Security (InfoSec). You will take responsibility for the end-to-end delivery of projects, establishing and ensuring maintenance of appropriate governance controls to facilitate quality benefit focused projects. You will take responsibility for managing projects through the full lifecycle from inception through to delivery. Furthermore, you will ensure that all projects are fully documented and maintained, including risk/issues logs, change control and communication logs. The Project Manager will take responsibility for budget management, efficiently managing change and liaising with a range of key stakeholders. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following: A proven track record of successfully delivering IT and business change projects Experience of managing projects in Financial Services organisations Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Matrix management experience Knowledge of delivery methodologies (Waterfall and Agile preferable) Excellent budget management skills Any knowledge of the regulatory landscape (FCA, PRA etc.) would be an advantage although it is not essential If you have any experience of delivering projects related to Finance Transformation, GDPR, Solvency II, IFRS9, IFRS17.
