Overview
My client is a well-respected contractor working nationally across the whole of the UK and Ireland. They operate in the new build student accommodation and high rise residential apartments. They are a a leader in their sector of the construction industry with project in both Ireland and main land UK. This role has come about due to a number of large sites needing a Logistics Manager to oversee incoming and outgoing operations on this busy construction project. This is a permanent role attracting a competitive salary & benefits package. Duties Include: • Management of the day to day site access operations and vehicle management • Responsible for controlling access to the gate on site • Liaison with the general public in regards to site operations, restrictions, health & safety • Responsible for ensuring safe and secure opening and closing of site and following all security protocols • Managing site waste • Dealing with sub-contractors • Coordination of deliveries and ensuring health and safety is upheld Experience: • Must have previous experience in this type of role on a large construction site • Must have supervisory / management experience • CSCS Card essential • SMSTS or SSSTS
