Overview
MMP Consultancy are exclusively working with an East London based Local Authority who are seeking a Surveyor to join the Capital Delivery Team. About the Role: The successful candidate will be working with our client's internal project teams and will be responsible for overseeing capital programme schemes. One of your responsibilities within this role includes assisting in the delivery of specialist Fire Safety work, and major refurbishment works. You will be expected to provide expert advice on building construction related matters including acting as an expert witness in a court of law. Monitor performance of contractors to ensure that works are completed in accordance with the client requirements. To ensure that full consultation and continuous engagement with internal and external customer takes place before, during and after work as required Undertake the full range of specification, design and contract administration duties which have a significant and major impact on tenant and leaseholder properties, general public as well as finance About Yourself: Provides excellent customer service in a respectful and timely manner keeping customers informed. Motivates staff and coaches them to deliver excellent customer service. Good IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office, housing and property management systems ( Have the ability to plan, organise and prioritise a busy workload. ( Be able to communicate clearly and directly in a way that meets the needs of the recipient.
