Ward Manger - PICU

Ward Manager - RMN / RNLD - £48000 PICU - Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit Linq Healthcare are recruiting for a Ward Manager for a PICU - Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit in Bradford. This ward is specifically for women who have acute mental health needs and deals with emergency and crisis admissions. The offer a short and rapid intervention so that service users regain a sense of control so they can move on to a less restrictive setting. All patients on this ward are detained under the Mental Health Act. In This Role Your Duties Will Include: Producing written reports based on your assessments and observations Working alongside the management team to develop the service, audit and improve quality Attending training and engaging in CPD Providing the highest standard of care based on a named nurse / team nursing approach and be a role model to junior staff Coordinate all clinical aspects of the ward Ensure cooperation between the clinical departments in the interests of delivering excellent service to patients Support staff through regular debriefs, supervision, appraisals, training, team meetings etc Participate in the manager's on-call system to provide the first point of contact for ward based staff outside normal working hours Lead by example ensuring the quality of care and standards of documentation are consistently high To Be Considered For This Role You Will: Be a Registered Mental Health Nurse or Registered Learning Disability Nurse - RMN / RNLD with a current pin number Have the ability to maintain documentation and undertake audits Have a good understanding of the mental health act Be committed to patient recovery in order to effectively monitor, manage and reduce risk Be compassionate, resilient, and decided to empowering service users To be considered for this role or for more information call Jo Reid on 07402817248 or send your CV by following the link below or
